AUCTION GUIDELINES

GRAND SLAM RAFFLE
1. The Grand Slam Raffle will close at 7:00 p.m. and the winning ticket will be announced prior to the beginning of the live auction. The winner has their choice of any live auction item except the “Head Table for 2009”. See page 7 for complete rules.

LIVE AUCTION
1. The Live Auction will begin about 7:30 p.m. and will run until approximately 10:00 p.m. It will consist of the voice auctioning of items in the order that they appear in the Live Auction Section of this catalog with additional items that are listed in the Addendum.
2. All bidding at the auction will require a Bid Number. Your personal bid number is located on the bid card you receive at registration and you should treat it as you would cash or credit card.
3. During the Live Auction, when you want to bid on an item, raise your Bid Number as to attract the attention of the auctioneer or your spotter. If you win an item, please remain in your seat and hold your Bid Number for the auctioneer to see. A runner will come to you with a receipt to verify your purchase price. An audible bid, once accepted, as the final bid is a bidding contract.
4. You may wait until the end of the evening and pay for all of your purchases at one time at checkout.
5. Sales tax will be applied to all goods (not services) according to current California sales tax law and the tax, which will be added to the amount of your purchase.

HEROES & HIGH HOPES
Around 9:00pm in the Live Auction, Item #45 will feature “Heroes & High Hopes”.
If you want to do something more than buy a trip, diamond jewelry, or a car, you can make a pledge during “Heroes & High Hopes” to ensure that the Club can continue to change lives!
